Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Intelligence Developer to support an on-going full scale global Business Intelligence implementation along with supporting continued upgrades, enhancements, and future management reporting needs.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP BW/BI Tools like BEx Analyzer, BEx Web, OLAP, MDX and BW Administrator Workbench.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with SAP BW Objects (InfoObjects, ODS, InfoCubes, InfoPackages,InfoSources, Datasources, Extractors, Transfer Rules, Update Rules).
  • One or more previous SAP BW full lifecycle Business Warehouse (BW) implementations including data modeling, extractions, data staging, loadings, transformations, and reporting.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with analyzing system performance, database performance, system health checks, and implementing tuning improvements in an SAP BI/BW environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing and supporting ABAP code in a BW environment.
  • Prior experience with Business Objects (BOBJ) development in an enterprise BI reporting environment would be helpful but not required.

  • Perform hands-on BPC Planning design and configuration (reports, input schedules, script logic, allocations, distributions, trending, etc).
  • Develop Reports, Input Templates, Dimensions, Data Integration, Business Process Flows, Logic, and Security
  • Building budget models and maintaining calculations with the budget models
  • Develop SAP BPC reports using reporting tools (Business Objects, Business Explorer, etc.) to facilitate seamless drill-through analysis
  • Communicate and effectively present ideas and solutions to customers, team members, and partners
  • Designing, developing and deploying BPC; leading the internal BPC Team members; coach resources, provide technical expertise, guidance and direction
  • Closely working with Business Analysts to ensure that all core business requirements are satisfied, new business needs are proactively supported and new BPC functionality delivers business benefits
  • Manage integration between the different modules
  • Ensure successful completion of all deliverables: specifications, walkthroughs, product development, unit integration and regression testing, defect resolution, technical documentation.  Ensure quality of these deliverables
  • Oversee completion of all activities related to the legacy systems in terms of data conversion and interface design, development and testing
  • Timely delivery of the configuration and development
  • Ensure that developed solution meets quality requirements
  • Must have expert knowledge of SAP and a general awareness of ongoing SAP developments
  • Must have excellent SAP BPC functional knowledge
  • Completion of a minimum of 2 NW or Microsoft BPC implementations, with good knowledge of integration points to SAP ERP and BI.

Job Summary:

SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for supporting security role administration and user administration across the SAP landscape. Additionally this role will have key operational responsibility for the SAP landscape including monitoring, transport management, SAPGUI rollout & support, SAP GRC administration. The Senior SAP Basis Administrator is expected to ensure proper functionality, controls maintenance and support of the SAP security environment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform core SAP Basis administrator functions including software installation and setup, enhancement pack and support pack installation and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management utilizing enterprise standards and leveraging best operating practices.
  • Support SAP Landscape strategy thru client copies and system refreshes.
  • Collaborate with enterprise monitoring team to establish and maintain appropriate monitoring and alerting of issues across the SAP infrastructure and application.
  • Utilize Profile Generator to create composite, derived and simple roles. Translate functional requirements into technical design for SAP security roles.
  • Support the implementation of security for new installations and upgrades.
  • Perform day-day user administration tasks across the SAP landscape.
  • Perform operational support for SAP GRC’s Access Request Management (ARM), Access Risk Analysis (ARA), and Emergency Access Management (EAM).
  • Collaborate with internal security and SOX audit teams to ensure proper controls are in place for SAP roles and authorizations and that ongoing governance is in place and occurring.
  • Document and implement best SAP Security practices and other process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with change control and incident response across the SAP environment.
  • Assures effective customer service to resolve issues swiftly and accurately.
  • Perform operational SAP tasks such as transport management, SAPGUI support and system monitoring.
  • Respond to system problems on a 24×7 basis and take part in on-call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related field preferred, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS/Security Administration including one or more of the following SAP modules – ECC, BW, FI, HCM, MM, PM and WM.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for SAP Security Administration and operations.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
General Summary:

This position will be responsible for performing complex ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, codes, and tests complex programs for SAP modules and functions using ABAP programming language
• Creates specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming language
• Designs forms and screens for SAP modules using tools such as SAPscript, Adobe and SmartForms
• Debugs and corrects complex SAP module problems
• Interfaces with functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures.
• Assists in defining complex technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet distinct requirements and improve system efficiency
• Provides technical support to other team members on matters related to complex programming of SAP modules
• Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including but not limited to technical specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data
